AddTranscripts ("we", "us", "our") is a free AI subtitle editor. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

2. Information We Collect

• Videos you upload — processed in real time to generate captions. Files are stored temporarily during processing and deleted automatically afterwards.
• Anonymous session ID — a temporary Firebase anonymous identifier used to secure your session. It is not linked to any personal identity and expires after 1 hour.
• IP address — used temporarily for rate limiting (to prevent abuse) and not stored long-term.
• Standard server logs — basic request logs retained for up to 7 days for security monitoring.

3. What We Do Not Collect

• We do not require account registration or store personal information.
• We do not permanently store any videos you upload.
• We do not sell or share your data with third parties.

4. Cookies & Advertising

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google may use cookies to show personalised ads based on your browsing history. You can opt out via Google Ad Settings. We do not use any other tracking cookies.

5. Third-Party Services

The service is hosted on Google Firebase. AI transcription is powered by Groq. We have no control over the privacy practices of these third-party services.

6. Children's Privacy

This service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

7. Changes

We may update this policy occasionally. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
